The silt trap is just about done now with just a few tweaks required to get it functioning effectively. As with all work of this kind there is a settling in period were the odd bit of work is required until the water path is settled.

Work is progressing well next door with the excavation and tree removal work to create level banks and then pegs going in. A look back at the picture posted on July 10th will show the huge amount of work already done !

A date for your diary is Oct 18th when we will have the Enviroment Agency at Rainwater to do a bio mass survey of the lake and give us an accurate stock level. This is crucial as that figure allows stocking policy to progress in a manageable way. obviously there will be no fishing while the EA undertake this work but it will be completed within a few hours.
