We are pleased to announce that we have secured the rights to allow our members to fish Walkerwood reservoir from November 1st to 15th February , This is not one of our waters so please read and follow the rules of the fishery carefully. There are several course species to specimen weight and expect our members to benefit from some fine fishing.

Rules for fishing Walkerwood Reservoir SK15 3EH  for Carrbrook Angling Club members

1. Valid Carrbrook Angling Club membership cards must be presented to the bailiff. No card no fishing
2. Fishery open from 8.30am until dusk. Carrbrook anglers may fish from the 1st of November until the 15th Feb, no access to the water before and after these dates

3. Fishing from designated areas only

4. Car parks must be used at the top end, parking on the dam wall is ok but do not obstruct the access gates
5. Coarse fishing only
6. Maggots and casters only
7. No fishing from or on the dam wall
8. No Brown trout to be taken but Rainbows and Blues can be taken up to a weight of two pounds
9. Fish (trout) can be taken for the table at an agreed price with the fishery manager Peter Ross
10. A guest of a club member can be brought to fish on a day ticket at a price of …£10 for 2 rods…. Purchased from the fishery manager on site
11. No climbing fences or walls, use the designated aces points only
12. No pre-bating
13. No keep nets
14. No litter
15. No boats including bait boats
16. EA rod licences required
17. No spinning/ lure fishing
18. Two rods only
19. No fires
20. No night fishing
21. No dogs
22. Junior members must be accompanied by adult at all times
23. Rules of etiquette apply as this is a mixed game and course fisheryFishing is from behind the pump house where you see the yellow pin, right across to the opposite pin down both banks to the inlet. No fishing from behind or towards the dam wall
